We are looking for people who:

Write documentation/improve our wiki doc
Help us to find bugs
Port/write applications to/for Maemo

In those cases most probably what do you need is an account on Maemo.org.
An account on Maemo.org permits you to:

edit our wiki and getting the credits
file bugs on the maemo bugzilla
host your project for free on garage.maemo.org

In case you are a developer you need something more. What you need is an account on gitorious.org. Then you have to send a request to join our team to "gnuton".
